A pleasant blend of tart lemon with the sweetness of decaffeinated green tea. This green tea retains 95 percent of the polyphenols and has a typical grassy green tea taste. This tea is refreshing and lively with a bright green infusion. Ingredients include Luxury green tea, Dried lemon peel, Natural dried lemon grass, Lemon balm, Sunflower + Calendula petals. The added citrus products provides an extra shot of vitamin C to this tea. A study in 2007 by Mario Ferruzi, Asst. Prof. of food sciences at Purdue University found that Vitamin C helps to improve the antioxidants in green tea and their effect.

The exceptional leaf is decaffeinated using a patented Canadian Chemical Free CO2 process. During the process, naturally occurring CO2 is circulated under high pressure to extract caffeine. Not only is this process completely chemical free and kind to the environment, it leaves none of the chemical flavor residue associated with chemically decaffeinated teas. The light, fresh taste that is the result makes this tea a natural for blending with dried fruits and herbs.

Hot Tea:
- Boil water and let cool to 203F/95C
- Steep for 2-4 minutes (longer=stronger)
- Use approx. 2-4 tsp per cup
- To re-infuse use higher temperature/less time

Iced Tea:
- Pour 1 1/4 cups boiled water on 5 tsps of tea
- Steep for 5 minutes
- Pour into pitcher while straining leaves.
- For a quart of tea add ice & top w/cold water
- Garnish and sweeten to taste
